John spoke at the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull

John spoke today (25th February 2020) at the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull at the launch of a friend, Christine Murphy’s, book ”My Marie Curie Journey”.  John’s endorsement of the book is on its cover.
 
It was John who encouraged Christine to write the book – and it is especially poignant to him as it contains memories told by his beloved wife, Sylvia, from her time as a nurse there. 
 
In the book, Christine tells of her time as former Fundraising Manager of the then Warren Pearl House, to today’s magnificent Marie Curie Hospice, West Midlands.

Christine has agreed to donate all of the proceeds from the sale of the book to Marie Curie.
